Course Curriculum

Falls are the number-one hospital-acquired condition. This webinar will discuss how to comply with the Joint Commission (TJC) and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) hospital Conditions of Participation (CoPs) standards on falls.

Falls are one of the most significant challenges for hospitals and other health care facilities. A recent study showed falls cost the health care industry $5 billion in 2020. This webinar will include information on medications that increase the fall rate and the pharmacist’s role in reducing patient falls.

All hospitals should have a falls team that should receive current education and training.
