This program is funded through the Medicare Rural Hospital Flexibility (Flex) Program. There is no registration fee for employees of hospitals who participate in GHA’s Flex program.

The Georgia Hospital Association Research and Education Foundation (GHAREF), in partnership with the Georgia Department of Public Health, is hosting a one-day Antibiotic Stewardship Boot Camp for Georgia’s Critical Access Hospitals through the Medicare Rural Hospital Flexibility (Flex) Program. The Antibiotic Stewardship Boot Camp is provided for Georgia hospitals to support professional development within their antibiotic stewardship Programs. This Boot Camp will focus on the role of microbiology in infection control and antimicrobial stewardship. Participants will learn 1) how to use their antibiograms to lead their stewardship program and 2) strategies to ensure sustained efforts to promote optimal and appropriate antimicrobial usage to help decrease antibiotic resistance.
