Innovation is most effective when combining technology (P-type) with strategic organizational changes (S-type), emphasizing workflow redesign, strong sponsorship, and an enabling culture.<br /><br />Financial pressures, regulatory demands (like updated Joint Commission staffing requirements), and emerging public policies are driving innovation urgency. The presentation concludes with practical strategies for success: starting small with minimum viable projects, crafting compelling, metrics-driven stories for sponsors, fostering project momentum, and leveraging internal and external partnerships.
